im very glad to hear from you. in your letter, you told me that you will come to china with your parents and stay here for a while. i am so excited to know that! welcome to china, my dear friend. now, let me 
introduce some chinese traditions and customs to you. different from american names, we chinese put our given game after the family name. take me for example. li is my family name and put before hua. besides, when we meet new friends, we would like to shake hands to show our politeness, so don’t be scared if you see people reach out their hands towards you. last, we can talk about a person’s family and even his or her age. these topics are usually avoided in america because they are private, but we can share them in china.
i have some advice for you to live a better life here. first, you’d better learn some chinese. you can watch some chinese films or read some books, or you can simply turn to me for help. second, practice using chopsticks. as you may know, chinese people eat with chopsticks instead of knife and fork. third, find the 
map of the city you are going to live in and remember some landmarks, which may help you adapt to a new city quickly.

本篇作文难度适中，挺适合学生写作的。特别是“背景介绍+要点1&2”部分，没太大难度。
我们同学写作的时候，考虑到字数，只需要把要点2里面的三个小点介绍清楚即可，不必像我范文一样，过渡很多。过渡多，行文流畅，但是导致字数明显超载。
同时，对于要点3来说，这是很中规中矩的“建议类”作文出题方式。就要按照“1个
主题句+两个具体建议+两个具体建议的解释句”这个套路写就可以了。
